Hey guys! This question is a little ridiculous, but does anyone happen to have the tickets to Beyonce’s concert in Belgrade they would like to sell? Or do you know anyone who would wanna give the tickets up?

i live here! the one unrealistic (though quite random) part i've always noticed is that in real life, apartments like theirs in manhattan would've cost muchhhh more than their respective jobs could've afforded (though monica's place did actually belong to her grandma which makes more sense) other than that i can't think of anything too ridiculous haha thats just something that's always stood out to me!

That’s what I thought too! And they seemed to have hung out waaaay too much for people who had jobs. It’s just funny thinking about how expensive it was for them to pay for the housing and how little they worked…

Do you realize the apartment and Central Perk were sets? Filmers record random NYC buildings and streets to use over and over for stills or transition shots. They don't actually go in and use those buildings regularly.

We do realize that. What we’re talking about is that the building they’d show was supposed to be the building Monica/Chandler and their roommates lived in. We are debating whether, in the fictional world, the coffee shop was in the same building, or in another building close to the one they lived in.

the coffeeshop should be under the apartment. the "little owl" is supposed to be the coffee shop - i believe nbc wanted to buy it out and create "central perk" but the owner refused

Don't take the building as a realistic place where the Friends lived: the "big" apartment normally has a balcony, which you can't see on the outside shots - or on your picture. So the chance of Central Perk being at the first floor of their building? I'd say 50/50: we simply don't know.

It was supposed to be in the same building. There are a couple of episodes where they refer to the apartment as "upstairs". Can't remember which episodes though :)

I went to NYC during spring break, and look what I found! It’s perfect ;-; In case anyone’s going or if anyone is wondering, it’s on 100 Bedford St, in Greenwich Village. I took a bunch of pictures and I stared at it for a while and it was great…………………..

I have a question though. To everyone who has been in NYC or lives there, what do you think of FRIENDS? How unrealistic does it seem to you, and does the fact that you’ve seen how the city is affect how the show is?

I moved to the US because of my exchange program, and my Photoshop stopped working and I just recently reinstalled it. And I guess I was busy with school and stuff, but I’ll be updating more from now on, sorry and thanks for sticking with us! :)

If you’re using Windows XP, Windows Vista or Win7, you will need Bsplayer. You screencap by pressing ‘P’ on your keyboard. If you want to screencap a specific bit of a scene, you might want to pause so you don’t end up screencapping the wrong part. If you’re using a Mac, you’ll need VLC player. You press command+shift+4 to select a screenshot with a crosshair, or command+shift+3 to take a screenshot of the whole computer screen. (now, I don’t have a Mac so I’m not really sure if it works 100%)
